Ever find yourself waiting for your computer to do something and you start playing minesweeper to kill the time? Basically I want to know if anyone else plays this addictive little game and how good they are at it. Here are my scores I think they are pretty good:

Beginner: 16 Secs.
Intermediate: 97 Secs.
Expert: 190 Secs.

Can someone claim better?

A few years ago me and a friend used to compete at this game. But he got too good.
I was getting around 16s for Beginner, I think his best time was 9 secs!!
I don't remember what we were getting for Intermediate.

Minesweeper rules. I currently have times of:

Beginner: 14 secs.
Intermediate: 62 secs.
Expert: none finished at the moment, but I seem to remember having finished a game somewhere in the 180 second range at one point. But I can't verify that at this time.

Intermediate: 49 seconds. Never attempted expert, as I've only played about twice. I probably would play more, but I discovered RHP 😀

Never did well at beginner. ~20 seconds.

dammit! I've often wondered if there should be a minesweaper world championship. I beat you at beginer (5 seconds) but you beat what I thought was a really respectable 93 seconds for advanced... I'll have to waste another few hundred hours..

Intermediate is the most fun - no guessing involved. beginner is all luck, and on expert you always have to guess a few times.

beginner-7 secs
intermediate-67 secs
expert-384 secs

i could probubly get much better in expert, but my mouse isn't very good, plus i haven't played it in ages and i can never be bothered working fast at expert...😛

27 seconds on intermediate level? 89 seconds on expert level? I find these times very difficult to believe. You must have been in a time warp or something. A team of U.N. inspectors will be around to check your computer. If they find any evidence of tampering, you will be banished to the "axis of evil". 😞

I've played Minesweeper but have never completed Expert mode. I'm more into Chip's Challenge. (which I have completed, and it's a fantastic game!)

This game is supposed to draw attention to vacuum cleaners, but it's quite a challenge. And it has "grandmaster" levels, which makes it kinda on topic here 😀

My best time on the expert level was 94 seconds, back when I was playing it a lot. You do have to guess a lot, but the 121 and 1221 patterns that appear quite a bit make it so that I almost always get at least close to finishing.
