Right, a few of us have been chatting in the tavern and I've found a site where we can play a game against each other if anyone is interested. Obviously need to agree on a day/time etc but what do you think, anyone up for a game of monoploy?

This is a bit of a tangent but I haven't played Monopoly, not once, since I first played Poleconomy [35 years ago, mind you]. It's such a brilliant Monopoly-like game but it just lays waste to Monopoly in terms of the transactions and strategies available, even while being hardly that much more complicated than Monopoly.

Yeah but they weren't completely random, I played there for years and finally got bored of it.

I believe that the game of monopoly was first invented by someone with Marxist views who wanted to teach children the evils of capitalism.
