Originally posted by Very Rustyat the moment it's a losing game not a lost game, if he plays a perfect endgame yes i will lose. one little error and the game is even. so i'm more than entitled to play on... however (and lets not forget that i play slow anyway and the game's on being on for a few months) he did agree to the 7/14 time controls and technically i'm not doing anything wrong, when i'm sure the game is lost i probably will resign but while there's hope i think i might as well drag it out and hope i get lucky (or he gets very unlucky lol). i really don't want another 6 games and if i draw i knock out a 1900. i may not beat him again in he next round, saying that there is already a 1900 in the final but i'd rather have two games against him where i can take my time and study each move than be in a final with 2 1900s and possibly a 1600 depending on other results.
What you are actually doing is slowing down a game you are pretty sure you are going to lose. Where is the sportsmanship here?
You remind me of the evil players who let their lost games time out. 😛
plus he might get bored of the game and mess up... a zozo special 😀
