I totally agree, but I wonder if reservoir dogs and trainspotting could be consdiered unpopular.

yeah-the italian job is excellent, i grew up on that film! thankfully, i didn't grow a accent like michael caine...

bill and teds excellent adventure is, well, excellent. as is duck soup (a true classic, and it's kinda cult-ish now...)

i got the cube trilogy for christmas, although i haven't had a chance to watch them yet. although i think they're horrors, and i don't really like horrors. the nearest thing i have to a horror is shaun of the dead. excellent film, but not scary in the slightest...

The Cell (cinematography is utterly astounding, even if J-Lo is appalling)
Dellamorte Dellamore (You may know it as The Cemetary Man)
The Wedding Singer (I know most people think this is trash, but it's the only rom-com I have ever thought is worth watching)
Excalibur
Shadow of the Vampire
Closet Land
Trigger Happy

I am just about the only person I know who thinks that all three (but mostly the first two) Mad Max films are high quality post-apocalyptic dystopian classics.

Now you know three. The first one, though, was low budget and starting to show it. I thought the second and third were richer, but all great. I long for another where Max finally finds peace.
