"Chess players will love LEXX 4.18 (THE GAME). Only a very few feature-length movies have been made in which chess is the main subject. I know of only four. Three of these have as their central theme the idea that chess players become obsessed with the game and go insane. This is depressing, tiresome, and not exactly true due to the fact that the majority of chess players are already insane before they take up the game."

No can't do those sort of live links here. You can only do them for forum threads, player IDs, clans, games etc within the site. You'll just have to copy and paste.

If you use Firefox, you can get the linkification extension which makes the links clickable.

Also see in the Developers forum for more extras available with Firefox.

I believe the translation of the book ("Schachnovelle" by Stefan Zweig) is called "The Royal Game", too. I read "Schachnovelle" a long time (probably around 20 years) ago and found it quite fascinating. I didn't know the book was made into a film.

In Dirty Harry, Clint Eastwood portrays Gary Kasparov to perfection.
