Wow. I'm just after installing the sweetest extension.
Its called Cooliris (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2207/), and you can preview linked pages without opening them in a proper tab/window.

I reckon it'll be very useful for My games (can preview each game page and make the move within the preview, and the just click on the my games page to return) and the forums (can quickly view a preview version of threads, without having to click into them and then back).

Ensure you change the options to Open Preview on Mouseover Icon. Its unworkable in the default setting.
