my mozilla keeps acting up. Every now and then it freezes up then asks me to switch users. Now I have three users and I can't get into the other 2. This is a problem because all my bookmarks are in them. How do I log out of the other users so I can get back into them.

Are you sure this isn't a Windows problem?

Have a go at blocking Internet Explorer from the Internet, using your firewall (if you have one).

Or check this:

oh yes. I've faced this before. Then it says one is in use? Well the on-the-spot fix is to restart the computer and it will let you back in the profile you want. Otherwise I did once find the way to select which profile to start up. look though options.

If it's how you describe - and not 'freezing' - then that's easy.

Restart the computer? No need. Windows has allowed Mozilla to get "stuck" in memory instead of closing properly. Ctrl+Alt+Del will reveal this. Just kill the program from there.

Hello.
I alo have Mozillla Firefox, and when this happens, it is because you might have a bug/spyware. Get Noroton Anti Virusr, or Trend More Spyware. I did, and have NO MORE problems. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ˜‰

Most likely? If you run Windows, that.

I get this. Logging off and on usually sorts it out (without restarting). I'm sure ctrl alt delete then closing Mozilla, as someone else suggested, would do the trick. ๐Ÿ™‚

Still, thats not the kind of problem spyware/adware usually causes. And Spybot S&D is a much better antispyware tool.

Have you tried going to Tools>Switch Profile by the way?

It came near the bottom of the list when independently tested.

Tested by whom? It came second in a 'which?' survey.

It came out pretty good in a computer magazine I can't remember the name of, but one of the better ones. And I've had good results with it, just the updates can be a little behind, but it's free. It probably lost a lot of points for the updates in your survey.
