State University of New York at Albany, which has only been a Division I basketball program since 1999, has made it to the NCAA Men's Basketball Division I Championships by winning the America East Conference with a 80-67 win over Vermont. http://www.albany.edu/sports/mens/basketball/index.html
They find out who'll they play in about 2 hours. They did win 21 games so even though they play in a very weak conference, I'm guessing a 13 or 14 seed and a longshot chance against a 4 or 3 seed. Go Danes!

I might have been overly optimistic; their power rating of 162th in the country is one of the lowest in the tourney. Some pundits are guessing they'll wind up a 16 seed and play Villanova in Philly!😞
