What's special about the Silent Majority is that it was founded as a movement against certain clans and people (as the title of this thread so nicely demonstrates). I think it may be unique in that respect. That's also a reason why I would never want to join, even if I were allowed to. But I don't blame the members for that; some probably don't even know the full story.
I don't understand the point of the clan.

If I have two enemies - the PFC and the JDs - and if the PFC is the JDs' enemy, and if the JDs are the PFC's enemy - then, by Red Knight's logic, both the PFC and the JDs are my friend.

So surely I should try to join one, or both, of them?

As you, suspect I can not really comment on the past. I guess I am guilty by association. I will miss the opportunity to get to know some players. If you want to talk about things other then my clan, I will only be a post or message away.

I have nothing against you personally, and as I said, I don't blame the members of the Silent Majority for the agenda of their leader. I don't judge people by their clan association.

I saw him in a service station many years ago. Me and my mates were arguing so loudly about whether it was him that he eventually got up and stormed off, glowering in our direction.

Confirming that I WAS RIGHT!

EDIT: McMenamie's enemy is John F Kennedy. I think you know what I'm saying, but I can't say any more...

Well I hope it does not please you to think that and I just might disappoint you by saying this. One of the best things about our clan is that we are all free to like and dislike what we choose with out fear of others opinions.
Well Said.

We have no enemies other than those that attack us.

And, in any event, it is hard for you to talk about the PFC as an enemy since you are in the PFC.

In fact, what's really interesting is that almost everyone in this thread in the PFC, Guttersnipes, or both!

That doesn't really address the logical problem.

Oh, okay. I was misled by the thread title, which I wrongly assumed meant something.
It was just an attention getter.

It was a reference to the current Donkey vs. Carp war.

One of your Carp-mates started a thread about it in the Clan forum, perhaps you've senn it.

BTW, the Carp leader suggested using the Silent Majority as an intermediary to facilitate negotiations in that on-going fight.

Phlab may wear the crown, but Gastel is the power behind the throne.

I think we've been down this road before = trying to fix problems with your logic.

However, I think in your own rudimentary way, you may have seized on an important point here. The PFC and the JD are both our enemies and therefore both are our friends.

This may be one of the keys to the Silent Majority. When you understand this, you'll understand us.

We are who we are.

Peace.

Have you de-coded any of his secret messages yet?
