My ex played piano and sang!

BTW: We are still on friendly terms! Opposite sides of the Country though but talk by e-mail.

    Yeah, I don't sing. I can't carry a tune in a bucket.

I was born too late. My fantasy has been to play with any of the bands from that era. The closest I can get now is jazz or blues clubs.
We can hope for a revival.

    Did you forget Sinatra?
    Absolutely not. Sinatra's untouchable.

But he wouldn't be a star if he debuted today, at least not in America. His style wouldn't land on the pop charts. The closest thing we have to Sinatra today is Michael Bulbe, and despite some success, is far from a chart-topper (at least not in the U.S.).

Sinatra would have success in non-US markets, but if he debuted today, he wouldn't make a dent on Billboard.

Decent song, vivify. She's a little too revealing, bordering raunchy, for me, but the vocals and the old school disco vibe are great!

I just stumbled around the net and through a mostly random succession of clicks, I found K-Pop last night. I must say, those South Koreans are masters at presentation. Very colorful. The music isn't half bad either. Better'n what most Americans are coming up with these days.

I enjoy music from the Big Band Era. I've always imagined how it was likely the last music heard by many during war-time.

    Piano.

I can also play sax, flute and clarinet, although not nearly as well as piano.
I admire your ability to get a sound out of any of the wind instruments. Took me a day to get a sound out of a sax. I played clarinet in 4th grade, and ever since then I have hated the feel of a reed on the tongue.

They really shouldn't call these "songs". More like a strip club audition tape with some random background audio.

    (Not that I'm complaining...)
