What's going on here? Free money for posting tripe in forums? I don't believe it.

It looks like a scam.

You have to give your paypal details, right? The messages from the people saying they got paid don't read true either.

Please don't start spamming this site looking for referrals either. Anybody clicking on the link above will be contributing to jim's account.

Wow I like your style of flow charts.
No they don't ask for any money. It is an up and coming website and I think they are trying to build up a customer base. They have adverts galore all over the place, so you are getting paid to look at ads in effect.

Dang, sussed out. 🙁

EDIT: I'm giving it a trial run to see what happens. I have nothing in my Paypal account, so giving my user name shouldn't be of any consequence should it?

Good point. I'm pretty sure paypal is very secure though. I can't see it being very easy to crack it with just a user name. Afterall, you have to give out your user name for someone to pay you, unless it is done by a 'PayNow' link.
I must admit though, you have planted a seed of doubt in my mind. I am going to look deeper into it with the power of google.

"1. According to PayPal accepting their ToS (Terms of Service) in effect means you waive your rights to credit card consumer protection laws if you want to use their service, and that you may not issue a chargeback for unauthorized use of your credit card and PayPal account, or if you do, then they have the right to limit your account.

3. Their terms of service are not completely disclosed upon signup and some key "conditions" are not disclosed. They fail to mention their total lack of security to prevent your account from being compromised by phishing & spoof sites. That if your account is accessed by a criminal using one of these methods, PayPal will hold YOU monetarily & legally responsible!

etc, etc"

I used PayPal for a very short time. It worked out ok. I'm more concerned with the myLot site than PayPal.

This read like some weird variant on a pyramid scheme.

I would steer well clear.
