Some people are actually pretty anti-social. Who are you to say he is "pretending to be above the populace"? How is being anti-social at all the same as thinking you're above others?
And who are you?
...a foolish question to ask if the extermination camps of world war 2
are a figment...of course not...but he ( the sociailist, adolf hitler )is a central enigma of the 20th
century....i would like to sit a table with all 10 of the parties i listed and spend a few hours talking...talking does not mean endorsement...it means talking....

Is it so wrong to not have a desire to go have a conversation with artists or politicians or famous people in general?
I have no desire to. None.
Originally posted by Dr StrangeloveWhats the problem of meeting Adolf, everything depends on the side of the coin in which you are, and of the hystoric context. Just as example the inquisicion if you where Catholic meaby you want to know the pope Gregorio IX who started that genocide movement and people could thing how in this world you want to meet him. So everything its valid, do you thing if meaby he wants to ask Adolph the reasons for its decision. Well of course thats my humble opinion.
But,
his life is very well documented [including film clips] and his views are well known and authenticated.
Will you be saying next that the holocaust is a figment of someone's imagination?

If you can't think of any interesting conversations you would like to have with these millions of people, then I'd say you're not very interesting yourself.
You sound awfully PC for your standard. Judge not, lest ye be judged, is that it? Well, judge away.

I cannot honestly think of one infamous person I would want to sit down with for a face-to-face.
Infamous to me doesn't equal a superior being. I know many very intelligent and creative people, all of whom I'd rather spend my time with, over a stranger to me.
I'm just not a "star-struck" kind of person. Notoriety isn't all that impressive to me.
Big deal.
