First, you said I WAS pretending to be something or other - not that you THOUGHT I was.
Second, I didn't say anything about the thread not interesting me - just that I was not interested in meeting so called celebrities. If you think that is showing contempt or superiority, you are wrong.
I have no problem with people wishing to meet the people they say, and likewise I think most have no problem with my choice.

Celebrities is an emotional charged word. You even said afterwards you wouldn't fancy meeting with anyone outside some people in this forums. You're either showing contempt for the star-struck people or you're a person without any interests in life. If you had even one, you would like to speak with someone that had something interesting to say about it.
I just don't believe this, sorry. It's like the villager guy that posted that he experienced an exorcism. I don't have to take everyone's word that what they say is true and so I don't believe you either.
I have no problem with people wishing to meet the people they say, and likewise I think most have no problem with my choice.
I also have no problem with keeping my opinion. I might be being unbelievably unfair here, I admit.

Your claims that you are anti-social are in complete contradiction with your behaviour in these forums and the claim that you know a lot of intelligent and creative people.
Which is it?
PS: Why should I be offended? It's you that's playing the offended virgin by saying I'm being unfair. Besides, I'm hard to offend, if I seem caustic it's just my normal forum-self.
Then are you saying I should assume you are always caustic?
Or that you contradict your normal behavior in online forums?
You're sounding more hypocritical to me with each reply.
And where in the hell did the terms offended or virgin come into this, I've certainly claimed neither.

Being different in different situations is not being hypocritical. Being hypocritical is pretending you're something you're not or judging others with different standards than you judge yourself.

[text shortened]... roblem with keeping my opinion. I might be being unbelievably unfair here, I admit.
Then you wouldn't have to write IMO in every sentence.
As for the rest, you are just jumping to conclusions.

You stated I was contradicting myself for stating I am more antisocial than not, offline.
Then you followed it up by stating you are different online.
Don't accuse me of pretending anything. My opinions, claims, and thoughts are the same offline and online.

I'm not sure I understand this sentence. For me to consider anyone anti-social then he must be anti-social in all social ocasions. If you disagree, then we've found the problem.
My thoughts, claims and opinions are the same online and offline. My personality traits are not. I'm more caustic online than offline, like I'm more expansive at a wedding than at a funeral. This has nothing to do with my ideas, thoughts or opinions.
