I've mentioned them before, the next door neighbours. They're shouting at eachother again tonight. I can hear the daughter sometimes too, she's 5/6. They were getting heated, saying how much they hate the other. I think they must have been drinking.
I think they can sort themselves out and then I think about Saffron who's partner killed her about 8years ago a few streets away. Damm depressing listening to them. 2 women a week are killed be people they know in the Uk. did you know that? Maybe I should phone someone, the police and ask them to go inturrupt the argument they're having. I had almost decided to do that and then they got quiet agian. It's none of my business at the end of the day. Or maybe it is, becasue they're part of my comunity and in that family are the two young children.
Well, anyway, I hope you don't mind my ranting in here. To quote Bob Hoskins, It's good to talk.
I don't know how exactly the system works in the UK, but I am sure there is some sort of child protection service that you can contact if you are worried about a child or a family. If you aren't sure if you should get the child protection service involved, you should be able to discuss this with them without naming names, and they'll tell you if they think it's serious enough to warrant an investigation. There are far too many children suffering because the neighbours or other people who notice that something might be wrong think it's none of their business.

Originally posted by yo its meI think it is good that you react - children are everybody's business, and I agree with Nordlys - there are far too many children who live in misery despite the fact that it has been known to a lot of people. I agree with Nordlys, perhaps the family is already known to the child protection services - call them. How do your neighbours feel about this? Don't keep your worries to yourself.

Don't ignore this, something should be done if it's going on and on. Social Services should be contacted if you fear the child is being subjected to constant rage and any sort of violence... even if it's just verbal.
