Tell you what. Conduct a poll to see how many 'Brits' would disagree with me.
Then conduct another poll to see how many think the General forum is the place where "ideas" are posted.
And it's pyjamas. (Well, you expected it.)

I will never surrender to your inane and utterly pointless juxtapositon of the two types of English. Both are acceptable ways, and if you can't live with it, then I suggest you find the nearest bridge to jump off of.

Immature children like him shouldn't be subjected to sound logic at such a tender young age. I'm sure that Bowmann will be able to become a contributing member of this site when he's ready to grow up.
What? Who are you replying to, and who (or what) is this "Bowmann" you speak of?
And for all who are concerned, I'm done... yes, that's it. I pour all of my emotion and feeling into trying to speak to him human to human, and it's like pissing into the wind. Since what he loves best is stirring the s***, I'm no longer wasting my time. Maybe, when he decides to speak to me like a human being, instead of an ass, I might reconsider.
But I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that day.

No, that isn't right. It's HUMOUR.
As to your colour, flavour and other preferred -our forms are also French influenced. In fact if you took the time to check the origin of the word color, for example, you would see that it comes from the Latin coloris (no U). Websters favored spelling therefore simply reflects the Latin origin of the word rather than the French derivation couleur (which, of course, was also derived from Latin, but being French they like to insert a lot of surplus letters). We might also find your argument more compelling if you did not use the form coloration (no U).

Ok, ok, I gotcha. Trust me though, he's really a good guy Suzi, really.
And really, I've known (and dated) my share of asses... what gets me is he's a sanctimonious, narcissistic ass!
Ok, ok... I'll stop this now... if I'm not going to respond to him, the least I can do is not talk around him. While he may have no respect for the human race, at least I know how to act in public...
