And what about all those poor little peas??
Ripped from their pods without warning, frozen until the can't feet their little pea noses, left for months and then boiled until their skins start to burst. Finally, they get chased around a plate and thrown into the bin.
HOW CRUEL IS THAT?????
SHAME!

The lobster asked me to drown it first, but I thought he was pulling a Br'er Rabbit on me.
"No, you must take me to the ocean to drown me, or my cells will explode in the fresh water!"
YOU CAN'T FOOL ME, MR. LOBSTER!

I can sympathise with the compulsive posting of complete rubbish, (It's a common side effect of the site) but admitting to a conversation with a lobster seems suspicious.
The post that was quoted here has been removedThis doesn't even seem to matter. The animal rights activists say we have NO RIGHT to kill them, pain response or not (I think we have to kill them in order to eat them). My point is not to start another conversation about eating animals......but Phlabs brought up lobsters when I happened to be thinking lately about this documentary I watched. I realized they talked about animals but no mention of fish or other sea life, really.
When I see a fish being gutted, I could care less. I grew up watching my parents cook up seafood in all sorts of ways and it's totally normal.
It was depressing to watch how cows and other farm animals are treated in mass farming, and I had my kids watch it with me so they understood how the meats get to our market.
Phlab, I boil them, ok??????

Whether or not crustaceans feel pain, I have no idea, but I'm betting that even without the sensation of pain, death is a very unpleasant experience.
I don't buy the whole "they don't feel pain" thing at all.
