@Great-Big-Stees said🙂 Good news and bad news. Maybe we should keep our new Swedish chef under supervision to make sure that he follows our strict rules on hygiene. Despite his good merits, there may still be need for improvement.
Our Swedish chef, Arvid, has recently received a notification from the Ministry of Food Stuffs after their inspection here that our fish has been deemed NFFC ( not fit for consumption). As a result the fish and chip option on our menu has been deleted but only until we can get in new stock. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause our wonderful customers.😢 On the ...[text shortened]... ons have come down with intestinal issues and of those 3 only 1 is on life support…at the moment.🤞🙏👍
@Torunn saidThere is always room for improvement, no matter the area. Yes supervision is a good idea. Perhaps something the owner might take on?🤔👍

@Great-Big-Stees saidSupervision is okay, but I generally prefer coercion.

we need not worry about the Swedish chef, he has been doing this for a long time. He is clean and his food is delicious.
Besides, his daughter's hot 🙂 Swedish chef stays!!
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidI am shocked.😲 I thought the New Tavern was much more fluid, not a venue for “persuasion”.😡

@Torunn saidAccording to Executive Order 4713, issued at 3 AM this morning, all regulatory activity regarding hygiene and food safety is disallowed everywhere on planet Earth.

@Earl-of-Trumps saidSomething I wonder about is chefs who wear hats or hairnets in the kitchen, but not beard or eyebrow nets (or arm nets in some cases).

(Psst -- does he have a foxy son?)
I have brought my own compartmented plate and I'll take a chance on the Daily Special and some mashed potatoes with butter and chives, and in the two smaller compartments just a dab of infected-bat pâté for starters and maybe a larger portion of stinky tofu (Chongqing Palace says that's more of a southeastern thing and they don't have it).
(What's the point of having an immune system if one doesn't give it a good workout now and then?)
@Great-Big-Stees saidHippies are perhaps the most rigid of authoritarians on Earth, it has emerged.

@Arkturos saidQuestionable issues like hair nets for beards and armpits are a bit beyond my paygrade. And the chef's son...? we'll have to ask him that. I don't think he takes such an offspring to work with him

@Very-Rusty
I dare say we all have them, yes. And men generally don't shave them,, or their legs, for that matter.
