@Earl-of-Trumps saidIt would be more correct to say I was a hockey player. Now I am a hockey fan. Stees still plays Golf how refined I wouldn't know!! 😉
Ya see, Rusty, you're a hockey player. And Stees is a refined golfer, and there is no checking in golf 😀

@Very-Rusty saidOn his golf balls you can read: "Sooner or later I will end up on fairway" 🙂

@A-Unique-Nickname saidDo you mean 'fore' yelling out a warning to people in the path of a golf ball. 😉

@Very-Rusty saidLast time I played golf I was dangerous; divots and slices everywhere.

@diver saidI never really got into golf, played most of all the other sports though. I went golfing once and was terrible!!! I was in my teens at the time, I was more into Baseball, Hockey, basketball, soccer, and football North American style, some volleyball and Tennis.

@Very-Rusty saidI too was a hockey player and an American football player and the results of those finally caught up with me about 5 years ago. Thankfully as golf is, normally a non contact sport allowing me to continue playing.👍😁

@Earl-of-Trumps saidI appreciate the offer Earl but California will “slip” into the Pacific leaving us (Canada) with nothing whereas you will have a lovely “inland” province. NO DEAL.😲😁
@Great-Big-Stees
Hey Stees, I'll trade you California for Alberta. Even up 🙂
@Great-Big-Stees saidBut if you take California you get Tom Cruise, he's got to be worth 3 Alberta's.

@A-Unique-Nickname saidHmmmm.🤔 Ask Nicole Kidman if she thinks so.😲

@Great-Big-Stees
Tom Cruise is a very good actor, I especially like his performance in 'Collateral', great job.
@diver saidI went with a group of buddies who golfed all the time. They went nuts when my ball was going to hit a group of people of to one side. Hollering Fore, Fore, Fore, I didn't know the hell it was all about and found out later it was to let the people know a golf ball was coming their way. I wondered at the time why they all scattered.

Now that was on my very first swing at the T- I believe they call it, not a good start. My first and last Golfing trip. I just figured this isn't my game. I'd sooner be playing Goal in nets having a puck coming at me around 100 miles an hour... 😉

@Great-Big-Stees saidI too played Canadian Football...LOL... I know what you meant. I played quarterback got leveled a few times but was usually quick enough to get out of the way of those big tacklers, hell some of them were around 300 pounds and still in their teens. I can see how you could get hurt easily. I was fortunate to have guys who protected me for the most part.
