@Very-Rusty saidI know! It's a complete mystery to me. Can't please everyone, I guess.

@The-only-Mr-T saidMaking booze in the bathtub: fine.
If it's not brewed in a bathtub it's not worth drinking.
Keeping the Christmas Carp in the bathtub: completely understandable.
Making mashed potatoes in the bathtub: the thought makes me queasy, and I love mashed potatoes.
@Torunn saidGood to know. I'm mostly a tea drinker, but I will research this topic (if I remember).
May I also suggest a cup of coffee. Recent research shows that coffee reduces the risk for Parkinson's disease among other things.
My late Dad and his also late slightly-younger brother both had Parkinson's toward the end.
In my Dad's case, Parkinson's caused such trouble with the ability to swallow that he lost a lot of weight and had to have a feeding tube surgically added to his stomach.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidSorry for having misidentified you as the alerter.
I haven't alerted any of his posts and have no influence over who the mods block from the site. He does seem to return multiple times carrying the same grudges, which appears to be his downfall.
Not your problem to solve or address, but I'm thinking: maybe next time around his grudges could at least be acknowledged as valid (if they are valid), even if not resolved or mollified?
@Arkturos saidThat's the thing about a personal grudge, they are only really valid to the person who holds them. Sometimes we just have to let them go, especially in a social forum, or at the very least don't interact with the person/persons where the grudge is anchored.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidCoffee? Sir this is a tavern, not a Tim Horton’s.😁

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidCoffee certainly - some health aspects should be considered.

@Great-Big-Stees saidNor is it a MacDonald's but one does need their morning coffee, well some of us do anyways! 😉

@Very-Rusty saidOh I have one a day, in the morning reading my morning newspaper…at home.👍

@Great-Big-Stees saidI also have one right after breakfast but go out to MacDonald's for mine. Extra Large Black, I put my own lactose free cream in. Going to try out their oats milk this after noon in my medium coffee.

I most likely wouldn't get a coffee at a pub, or tavern.

@Very-Rusty saidI have two cups of caffe latte (coffee and milk 50/50) every morning, two slices of toast and marmalade. Standard breakfast.

@Torunn saidI have Bran Flakes, a small banana, Cranberry Juice, yogurt or a fruit bowl switch back and forth each day and having one or the other at lunch time with my Egg, and Cranberry Juice. Sometimes I will get an egg Mcmuffin with sausage, for lunch, as a treat.
