I have two cups of caffe latte (coffee and milk 50/50) every morning, two slices of toast and marmalade. Standard breakfast.
I notice that Swedish Academy Dictionary recommends the spelling caffelatte - one word.

Starbucks?

You are aware that Starbucks is an American company…right? So the answer, if you are politically aware, is sarcasm eh?🤔

I actually wasn't thought that was where you would get it.

I don't do Starbucks can get the same and better quality in my humble opinion at McDonald's. 😉 I am avoiding all American products while we have the present Clown President in office. I was by there this morning and there wasn't a car in their Paring lot at Starbucks. Their old customers are coming across the street to the McDonald's I got to daily.

It's sad that Trump has managed to build a wall, not just to Mexico but to the rest of the world. I don't think the Americans wanted it this way.

It all started out with he was going to lower the prices of Milk, Gas, and other groceries and Products. It doesn't appear China are backing down and I didn't think they would. At this point in time they may even be in a better power position than the U.S. everyone is still trading with them. I think Trump expected everyone to crawl to him, which didn't happen. All he has managed to do is UNITE the rest of the world. We are taking down the tariff's we had between our Provinces which might be one good thing Trump did, is unite as a Country threatening to try and annex Canada into becoming the 51rst state just made us a little stronger.

He may just find himself alone when all is said and done. Kissing Putin's butt will not help him as Putin looks at him as being weak. Feeds Trump's big ego and laughs at him behind closed doors.

I may be in error but I feel fairly confident in thinking McDonalds’ American.🤔

That's the thing about a personal grudge, they are only really valid to the person who holds them. Sometimes we just have to let them go, especially in a social forum, or at the very least don't interact with the person/persons where the grudge is anchored.
Sir, I'm not sure I agree with you yet, but I'll mull it over.

So gaslighters and bullies (individually or in aggregate) get a free pass, because the victim is a fool to hold a grudge? Sounds a lot like victim-blaming.

I find that rather disappointing. 😉

Oh I have one a day, in the morning reading my morning newspaper…at home.👍
I seem to remember newspapers, and magazine stands.

I also have one right after breakfast but go out to MacDonald's for mine. Extra Large Black, I put my own lactose free cream in. Going to try out their oats milk this after noon in my medium coffee.

I most likely wouldn't get a coffee at a pub, or tavern.

Oh, now I seem to get that you enjoy the social experience when you go out for coffee.

Otherwise I would have wondered why you don't just use a bean-grinder and coffee maker at home.

(If you ever need to bunker in place, I would recommend both Cafe Bustelo and Trung Nguyen for pre-ground canned coffee.)

Does that mean you squirt it out of one of your nipples?

(No idea what might have been going on up there in Canada.)

I have some thoughts about this, but probably better posted in Debates, if ever.

In that case... I'll have 10 bottles of the most expensive whiskey.
Sorry for the callback, but if I still drank the hard stuff (and drank whisk*; I preferred bourbon) I'd ask for ten bottles of the ten most expensive (and well-reviewed), for whatever potential variety of experiences those might offer.

So, all these interpersonal matters aside, may I ask if the Tavern will serve a Sunday roast on Sunday, or is that more of pub thing?

🙂 It's an Italian word and I am surprised to find it in the Swedish Academy Dictionary at all.
