For every major event in human history there has emerged a conspiracy theory.
I disagree that most people think that the US government was involved in the 9/11 attacks.
Now, what most people think is not always a good basis for determining what is right.
In this case, I think that we would need substantially more information before we begin to i ...[text shortened]...
As a general rule I would suggest that you don't believe everything you read on the internet.
Actually I don't really have an opinion. As I keep stating "I might be wrong." Perhaps this isn't clear enough. What I should say is I have lent towards a certain belief, but at the end of the day I DON'T KNOW

um... are you calling me a liar?
It's sort of like IF you said that most of the people you talk to think that the holocaust never occurred.
And I said, I disagree with that. Most likely I'm disagreeing with your statment about the holocaust and not your statement about what your friends believe.
I have no idea who you hang out with or what they believe.

And...Prehaps you forgot WWII. I would say that was far more of a crisis for the world than the current West vs East media manipulated Civilization War that is happening.
PS. Why did you not post this Conspiracy theory in the Debate forum?

Perhaps the following belongs in the spirituallity section but stuff it. (I like General because my postings dont firmly belong anywhere)
I better qualify this - I BELIEVE THAT - We are here to learn. We are here to evolve. Everything was set in motion to work out.
I KNOW NOTHING.

One of the problems that I see with the internet and with popular culture (i.e. televison and movies) is that the most ridiculous theories get presented and become the new reality for many members of society.
The entertainment industry has discovered "experts" willing to espouse just about any opinion that will get people to watch.
People watch Braveheart and think they know something about William Wallace. People watch Fox News and think they know what's going on in the world. Dan Brown wrote a couple of seriously flawed novels and everyone thinks they know about the Knights Templar and the Illuminati. The History Channel is passing off rife speculation as fact and hiring Robo-Cop as an "expert." Fox News has Trapper John handing out "professional" investment advice.
