Sorry I didn't keep a record of my resources to support this post.

I read that Cheeny talked about establishing a new world order around 40 years ago. He stipulated thet the U.S must gain military supremacy after the fall of the Soviet Union and create an American led dictatorship to control the world.

A recent think tank(in 1999 I think) suggested that the first steps after 2000 would be to gain control of the middle east and their oil and to put in place a space weapons and defence system.

To gain a mandate to invade the middle east would require a massive attack upon the U.S otherwise people wouldn't support it. Thus 9/11 occured. ( I think most intelligent people believe that this was U.S engineered)

Here are my thoughts on the subject - I believe that it is better the lesser evil, if the U.S wasn't controlling the world the Chinese or Russians would be happy to take the role.

I predict that withen 20 years we will have a U.S led global community.

Withen 50 years we will have advanced robotics to the point that no one will have to do mundane work anymore. The western world will have a Eutopic society where capitialism will collapse in favour of a socialist type system where robots that are as flexible and ingenious as us will be our slaves.

Withen 150 years the developing world will be intergrated into this system. Disease will have been eradicated. Wisdom and tecnology will continue to improve exponentially.

Withen 500 years we will have colonised all the inner planets of the solar system. (Using either terra-forming or large air-conditioned domes.)

Withen 2000 years we will have taken the first steps toward colonising the Universe. We will send out AI controlled ships equipt with "human growing laboratories" that can travel at near the speed of light because there isn't the problem of inertia to worry about if there are no living beings onboard.

I realise these views are controversial. But I welcome any comments or critisism on the subject because it is something that fascinates me immensely, and I have alot to learn.

Within 5 years, you'll be locked in a padded cell, babbling incessantly about how the phone company is reading your mind. 😕

Americans have had dreams of this since they started, its even on their money - 'Novus Ordo Seclorum.' I think the theory would be good if it wasn't for a little thing called 'backlash.' Even as we type, people are getting more vocal in their protests against American 'foreign policy.' It can only reach a certain point before everyone gangs up and stops it. Germany had a pretty good start in WWII when America was ignoring the European war, but eventually once everyone copped on it was stopped.

I like to think positively...

Edit: Good idea about the foil hat. I wear mine all the time.

Actually, "Novus Ordo Seclorum" means a New Order for the Ages and not as is often claimed, a New World Order.

If you don't wear your Aluminum foil hat, they'll know what you're thinking.

You gotta love the all-seeing eye!

Some show on the History channel went on and on about the repetition of the number 13 on the Great Seal and the back of the dollar bill and how it was an important number to the Templar/Illuminati/Mason/Bilderberger/Rothschild/Tri-lateral commission/Skull & Bones conspiracy members.

What about the 13 colonies?

"I like to think positively"

So do I. I have great optimism about the future of the human race.

However I see right now as being THE MOST delicate and difficult transitional period that the world has ever seen.

Sure we have had periods of greater conflict, but they were without the added complexity of the existance of WMD (unless you include the conclusion of WW2.) Futhermore we have polution and the sustainability of our resources to worry about.

But I have great faith in the adaptibility of the human race. America will clumisily guide us through this difficult period until we find the golden mean of existance. The underlying goodness of every one of us will be our saviour.

We have such a little way to go and then it will all become easy. 😀

Well, you got the first part right about the right-wing taking over the world, but it looks like you didn't understand the movement. We'll never have robots that do the work because the whole concept of the right-wing movement is to take the middle class society, pay them peanuts, keep them sick and dumb, and have them do all the labor.

Yes, the American government has a plan alright.

You want us to address your post as some seriously thought out piece, yet you think you can get away with making some crazy statement like this?

Have you polled a statistically significant number of "intelligent people" to support this statement?

Or are you simply redefining intellient to mean people who believe this?

Isn't that what people in the 1950's thou ...[text shortened]... en place and the human race may be lucky to be as advanced as it is now. Mark my words 😉[/b]
Well I'm not going to try and argue every individual point with you. I will say that if we don't change then your predictions, I believe will be correct.

But I think we can and are changing.

"necessity is the mother of all invention"

Our enormous instinct for self preservation and our basic "goodness" as beings will be our saviour. Once we have colonised at least some of the inner planets there will be no stopping us. Our race will survive until the universe is no longer habitable.

In 50 years, everyone will wear silver jumpsuits with a white "V" stripe in the front.

I qualified it by saying "I believe" The majority of the post was my opinions. I intentionally chose this format as it is the most assured method of provoking debate. So thanks for your contribution! 😀

edit: I actually said "I think" but same thing.
