I remember being in a bar "once". They say I maybe shouldn't have had that last drink, be that as it may, because the contents of my stomach (very liquid) flowed up my esophagus and out my piehole. Yuk.😲

It's a long time since I was that drunk.

I'm 52 now and I don't drink half as much
as I used to when in my 20's and 30's.

Pub culture is changing here in Ireland.
More and more people drink at home now.
They go to the store and buy what they
want and bring it home. Watch a movie.
Have a meal and they can smoke if they want.

You can't smoke anymore in bars or any place that
is regarded as a public place. This law as well as the
price of alcohol has persuaded people to stay away
from pubs.

Lots of pubs closing down now. Customer footfall is very small.

Drunk was once asked if he had a problem with drinking.
Drunk answered, "Only when I'm broke."

The incident I referred to happened a looooong time ago (many decades). I "woke up" with a head that seemed the size of a tourist ballon to say nothing of the pain I was having to endure. It was then that I pared back, substantially, my intake of the devils drinks. Moderation is always the best course to take, not just with alcohol, with anything.

If I went to the liquor store and came back empty handed
is that a dry run?

Possibly except if you drank it all on the way back.
