I'll vote in this one.

(I promised I'd vote before and I believe I let you down. But Bowmann is a man of his word.)

(I realize there are too many I's up there, but I can't be bothered to reduce them.)

I'll most likely create something at the weekend for this one.

I hope to enter something later. I'm currently about 500 miles (800 km) from home, and my telephoto lens is not that powerful. 😉

You be homeless, maybe? :'(

I struggle with the theme as well. But I'll see if I can come up with something this weekend.

In the contrary.. I have many Homes...

I am a Palestinian - so home is there..
I am British live in Newcastle - so home is here..
My parents are in Blackburn - so home is there..
I grew up in Kuwait for 13 years - so home is there..
I was born in Damascus - so home is there..

Home where the heart is, so they say.. I guess I need to speak to her.. But she is back.. home.. In Palestine..
😳

I've got nothing for this round. No ideas, no inspiration, nothing. Like Napoleon Dynamite, "I've got no skills".

How about macro shots of the everyday objects around your house. This can produce some interesting shots.

I got one entry today. So far that's the only one. I am used to getting most entries quite late, so I won't despair yet, but I think this is the slowest start we have ever had. Get shooting!

I have 2 concepts in mind, but have been really busy lately with other stuff. I may be struggling with the deadline, but don't extend it yet just for me. I need the motivation of a tight deadline.

Home can be a really interesting round, if you focus on what makes your home, now or in the past. Focus on the details. I'm really looking forward to taking one of my concepts. I hope it works out. 🙂

Also, I've been thinking about the round title, I don't think people should be restricted to just shooting photos of/around their own homes. My gf mentioned that a picture of a hermit crap would be good. The round should be open to the photographer's own interpretation of what "Home" means, or how it is represented.

Expanding the concept to broader definitions of home might inspire more entries I reckon.
