The next round of the RHP Photography Competition, "Humour", will open in about two weeks. The deadline for entering is Friday, 3 February. You can enter up to three pictures. Send them to rhpphotocomp@gmail.com , together with the following information:
* Title
* Comment: Advanced editing, for example removing or adding objects, use of special effect filters or major colour adjustments, must be mentioned. Other comments, for example details about the equipment and settings, basic editing or some background info on the picture, are optional, but encouraged. If in doubt whether something is basic or advanced editing, just ask, or even better, simply give a little more information than absolutely necessary.
* Your RHP nickname (that won't be revealed before the round is over)
Please keep the file size under 200 kB, and the picture shouldn't be bigger than 1024x768 (I'd suggest 800x600).
The pictures will be displayed on my webspace. You can choose to have your pictures removed when the round is over. You can also choose to leave them there, but have your name (real name or RHP nick) added.
If you have further questions, ask them here or send me a PM.
The last round, "Urban", is finished, but it would be nice to get some more discussion about the pictures, so come and visit the "Urban" thread: Thread 36329

Originally posted by NordlysIt's a standard Photoshop filter (CS2). An absolute killer for distortion. Thanks anyhow.
Liquify? I have never seen that one. Anyway, you are free to photoshop as much as you want as long as you mention what you have done. You may find that most people prefer less heavily edited pictures, though.

I can't find it in 5.0 LE. Anyway, thanks for the pic! 🙂
I'd love to contribute, but I'm not exactly a good photographer. I'm much better at criticising other peoples work. Do you have to take the picture yourself? I mean, what if I found a good picture on the web, gimped it a little and passed it off as mine? Would that be against the rules? :
Originally posted by RagnorakI have a picture which would be great for this round, but I have been looking for it for months and can't find it. :'( I haven't been able to find anything else fitting this category either, and I don't have a digital camera yet, so most likely I'll not participate in this round.
I'm struggling, would you believe. I can't find the picture that was the reason for creating this round.
I'll defo have 1 though.
