As the rules are clear.

First I think your parents have to explain why they chose to breed.

I could well imagine this remark qualifies for a ban as well

It's certainly more offensive than anything I have ever written. But offensiveness doesn't seem to come into the picture when it comes to bans.

If you have a cute avatar you'll be ok.

...that picture of your avatar rat...has to be plastic...something you
got at knott's berry farm or something...real rats don't look like
that...real rats are black / brown hairy and you can smell their
offal breath from a yard away....( my rat killing stick is one yard long ).

Here's another question for you:

What type of behaviour is more detrimental to the site?

a) Cussing in the forums; or
b) Sending threats to users to hack into their computers and/or release personal information on them.

Which of these two would most likely cause you to leave the site? Which of these two issues is not being addressed by the site administrators? Why is that?

Choice? I think there was a great deal of accident involved.

You can tell, really with most bans. If you can't the post was erased or you don't read the forums enough.

you set up a false choice...it is neither....i have posted quite a bit...
never had to use a poor word or refer to a private body part that
would not be addressed at a civil dinner in mixed company....it is
somewhat simple to set up a false choice...think a little more...try
to think of 3 things or maybe 4....smart people can communicate
without looking for material on the bathroom wall....
