Nice ski slope, btw.
I respectfully disagree. This isn't an exclusive club. It's a web site. If you pay money, you get certain extras. If you don't pay money, you don't. But I know many non-subs who contribute to the community via the forums as well as through their games. Don't remember seeing your name before, though.

Take it to the debates, you call non-subs leeches, i call you a knob. . .any argument from you in that arena is double standards.

the very reason we have as many subscribers as we do is because we have as many non-subscribers as we do. The cost of this website is because of the extra benefits that come with being a subscriber. There is no leaching going on here. The Business decisions come from the Administration and it is their decision to make. They have built one of the top chess sites in the World maybe even the very top, by using this method. The money doesn't come out of your pocket. If anything it helps to keep the prises low for everyone. There are many people playing here just waiting for the right opportunity to say put me in coach. Can you imagine a store not allowing customers to come in and look around and think about those new shinny gizmo's they just got to have when they got just the right amount of cash to lay down. Best way to sell is to bring the people in, and the products will usually sell themselves. No need to fix what isn't broke, the system works.
