This is why it pays to read what you are agreeing to rather than just click past it (you were here when Russ got everyone to reagree to the TOS, why didn't you read it then?).

flyunity, if you just want to learn on here with the help of your brother, only play unrated games. As it stands, you have broken the terms of service.

Spoken like a true hypocrite.
Speaking of hypocrisy, I guess you're going to report flyunity to the game mods. I also guess you are going to publicly ridicule the leaders of Express Lane and Literati for having an admitted cheat in their ranks, and pressure them to expel him.
Anything less and you will be displaying hypocrisy of the highest order. You know it and I know it.

My position on such matters is well known; certainly those clan leaders should expel flyunity. I have already made a post in the clan forums mocking him. I'm sure you and the Dr. Phils of RHP will think I'm being too harsh, however.

Why are you making up a blatantly false position of mine? Point us in the direction of 1 post I made where I condone cheating. Or else retract your obvious lies. Obviously, it suits your twisted little mind to ignore the numerous instances where I stated that I thought that Blobby should have been kicked from both the clan and the site. You're a great man for calling for retractions, but are you man enough to do it yourself? Another show of hypocrisy if you don't.
My act of solidarity was for Darvlay's show of compassion towards a messed up kid who had been thrown to the wolves. Read some of his posts, and tell me he knew that this website wasn't the real world.
So you're 1 liner "gag" in the clan forum equates to the pages of disparaging posts directed at Darvlay in your mind? And u have the gall to call me a hypocrite?
Get your nurse, Ravello, to give you a nice rub down to help you relax after you retract your lies. You'd both enjoy that.

Joining Darvlay's clan BECAUSE he didn't expel an admitted cheater immediately is condoning cheating no matter how you dress it up. I will not retract my true statement that you are a hypocrite for criticizing flyunity while joining a clan in implicit support of half measures against cheating. You can't have it both ways; either you're against cheating and those who do it face the consequences of their cheating or you don't care if they cheat or not. I've made my stand and you should try to make a CONSISTENT one, too.

I re-read the ToS once more. Let us assume that two people (it could be a kid and his/her father who want to share a learning experience) join RHP under a single username, with a single email address. If that user does not use engines or third party advice, where is the breach of ToS? Where in the ToS is it stated that 'a single user' is identical to 'a single natural person'? btw., the reverse is clearly stated (multiple accounts are not allowed).
I am not advocating this by any means, on the contrary, but isn't this all becoming a little paranoical? Where is the intention of cheating in what happened here?

For it to be hypocritical, I guess you'd have to point me in the direction of something I did or said which meant that I didn't believe that getting third part assistance is against the TOS. If you can't do that, then withdraw your accusation.
Answer me this 2Bit...Did Darvlay's decision affect the admin's policy against cheating on the site? If not, then why the big brooha? If I immediately got cut off by my guardians/friends when I was 13, I don't think I'd be what I am now. That's a fact.
See the thing is, 2Bit, most of us are still developing human beings, learning as we go. You, in your dementia state, are absolutely fixed in whatever 'values' you may have picked up over the course of your life.
And speaking of "CONSISTENT" positions, why have you allowed Chess Slayer to join your clan? Has he been investigated as you said he would have to be before joining your clan? Assuming you knew as much about me as u know about Chess Slayer, then prove that I'm not Andrew Smith, ID 10399831. I have nothing against Chess Slayer and have no suspicions about him, just trying to show 2Bit's hypocrisy on "CONSISTENT" positions. I suppose one of the great things about being a 2bit lawyer is the lack of morals to be able to only address facts which are favourable to your position.

I allowed Chess Slayer to join my clan (which every other clan on this site would have done with no questions asked as you well know) for the reasons that I am satisfied that he is not an engine user. He provided an USCF rating and ID number and somehow I don't think he just scrolled through their website and pulled it up. And I also actually ran 4 of his recent games through my Fritz8 analysis (something I could not do when he first applied) and found the matches to be consistent with a player of his caliber (slightly higher matchups then mine). How's that for having standards and being "CONSISTENT", Ragnorak????
Originally posted by Mephisto2I dont know if it's allowed, but I dont think it's fair. In real life games, you usually dont have 2 players vs 1 as well. Ofcourse, if they both play games only for themselves (they divide the games between them), its ok. But you'll never have proof that they didnt help eachother, and the rating will be messed up as well.
