We use to have an expression: A penny for your thoughts. Now we don't use Penny's so would need to come up with a new saying:

A nickel for your thoughts?

A dime for your thoughts?

A Quarter for your thoughts?

A loonie for you thoughts?

Or something entirely different?

Also
"Not worth tuppence ha'penny"
to describe something as worthless

If someone paid Rusty a penny for his thoughts, they would be paying far too much. 😀

A good one!

A little over thirty years ago, eighty-one year old Clara Peller (1902 – 1987) uttered the immortal words “where's the beef?” for a Wendy's Restaurant TV commercial.
