I wouldn’t moderate a site that would have me as a moderator.

Sorry to hear of your health issues. Passing stones is extremely painful. I've passed a few myself.

😢
I hope to never have that experience, I have enough medical issues of my own.

You should not be banned for giving your opinion. I find that sad. Feedback and Mods have not responded me in ages. I guess they are busy with bigger things. My things were small.

Russ however has always been good about responding whether he agreed with me or not. It's always good when they respond.

You should get a sub, you would enjoy a lot of what this site has to offer.

Thank you, Michael. I'm sure we have communicated with each other before, when we both had different usernames.

As for me, earlier I had a three-year forum ban (which was commuted) without explanation from any of the anonymods or Russ himself.

In more recent times, I have had some shorter bans where at least someone gave some indication why, which I did appreciate.

I seem to have achieved some kind of equilibrium with a small number of haughty forum adversaries (no idea what is wrong with them), so am not completely averse to resubbing.

As for what this site has to offer: It has great aesthetics, and for corr-style chess this is the best place to find tournaments that start quickly and don't go on forever.

As for the people in the forums -- well . . . there are some decent and interesting people to be found.
