Generally it is thought that people fall into on of the two categories:
Owl: being awake until late in the night, rises late.
Lark: Rising early, goes to bed early.
I disgaree, I can rise early and will routinely do so, but I can also sleep in. My wife howveer I put nto the owl category.
How about you?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidAnyone who says they don't sleep is kidding themselves IMO.
I'm a bullfrog.
Winston Churchill and Maggie both said they only slept 5 or 4 hours a night. But hey, they both went senile. That's got to have something to do with it.
@ponderable saidI used to be a lark but now I'm something in between. I love sleep. ๐

@yo-its-me said๐ I'm sure I do sleep during the night, but feels as though I am alert in my thoughts throughout. I have though come to appreciate the benefits of rest, even if sleep doesn't happen.

That said, there are definitely nights where I don't sleep at all. (Things improve in the Spring).
@ghost-of-a-duke saidI love my sleep. Think I'd be a bit grumpy if I went to bed and couldn't sleep. Actually that has happened a few times, when I've had heart burn, and then I'm very tired the following day. I guess I'm a lark, I'm usually awake by 6.
