On the subject: In Zakynthos i dined at
1 - Maggie Mae's "Bangers and mash" plus gravy
amd
2 - Paul's Bar two times
a) - Pie & Mash with mashy peas and gravy
and, yesterdaym on the last day of my holiday
b) - Scottish Breakfast plus Garlic bread

I'll show a photo soon, but I think I got the following
1. a scone
2. roasted mushrooms (tasted like a liver)
3. tomato cut and grilled
4. 2 fried eggs
5. fried bacon
6. black pudding
7. baked roll and butter
8. one more thing I don't what, looks like frikadelle

I think "scone" was like a potato-pancake, I don'r know.
I ate black pudding actually, I wanted to give it a try. One fried egg on the bacon, the other on black pudding. 😉

when my bto gets here from oz he is going to cook tripe and onions with mash like my dad cooked I am up for it but the rest of our family are running scared.

"If" cooked properly it's really good. We used to get it with a cream sauce poured over it. Mmmmmm.
