I'm going to be in Philadelphia this weekend playing in the National Chess Congress which is being held at the Sheraton on 17th and Race Streets. Two questions:

1) The name of a decent bar/restaurant in the area where I can grab a few brews and a steak/burger/wings/pizza etc. etc. after I finish my games for the day; and

2) The name of a sports bar in the area where I can watch the Giants-Skins game on Sunday if I have time between rounds 5 and 6.

Walking distance from the Sheraton is preferable. Thanks in advance.

Was it really, really, really necessary to mention the reason for your trip to Philly?

I question the wisdom of you, of all people, letting the RHP population know where you are this weekend. Hope you're packing your 9.

And I know you will represent BWA by wearing your BWA T-shirt. I look forward to hearing about how well you did.

Naturally, though I should have got a second one as it is a three day event.

No worries. When they see "gansta chess" on the back, they will keep their distance.

Just because he said the Sheraton, doesn't mean it is the Sheraton.

I'll check but I didn't see in the tournament announcement a section for "Pretend U2000".
