I imagine they do exist here, but as I say, I have a superhuman wrist (no joke, it locks) and can usually open jars with just my hands.

God save the King.
What a shame we will never meet to have arm wrestle, much had to do with the wrist from what I been told. ๐Ÿ™‚

Yes, did get them in Tesco.

Don't have a dagger myself, but do employ a couple of trustworthy assassins I could ask.
Ever bought the ones containing chilli by mistake ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I am too, something we have in common and didn't know about, now everyone knows. ๐Ÿ™‚

Oh wow.

you mean you people have never heard of the "Cap Snaffler"?

you poor deprived people

Very interesting, although I have to admit that I have employed some of the tricks and techniques before, and for many of the same reasons.

It seems that with the simple request for personal tricks on how to get a stubborn lid off a jar of pickles, we come across some interesting techniques, and some personal information to boot.

I wonder! What would come of it if, instead of a jar of pickles, we used pickled minds? Perhaps we could gain some ideas and personal tricks on how to take the stubborn lids off people's preconceived notions and prejudices.

Can a crown be considered as a lid?

What are the odds that nearly everyone in this thread has the very same recessive trait?

Sinister.

I'm another leftie.
I have a gadget from the $2 shop, a long metal triangle with vicious toothed edges, which is nailed under a shelf. I just push the jar into it until it jams, then it's easy to turn the jar with both hands. Best $2 I ever spent.

Perhaps left handed people are genetically attracted to online chess sites with combative forums? ๐Ÿ™‚
