Phlab's a catcher. The rest of the PFC are pitchers.

He likes it that way. Coconut wants to be a catcher as well, though. Phlab says that he has to wait until he can handle bigger balls before he can catch in case he gets an injury, through over enthusiastic pitching. I hear Hand of Hecate is notorious for getting a bit exuberant with his pitching. Phlab also likes that.

We've already gone over this... I'm built to pitch. I can't handle the abuse on the legs and rump of being a catcher.
