... and you don't care.

Quantity is the measure for you, I think...
Anyway, one life is important for me. 50 killed civilians/soldiers seems to be of no importance for americans.

Why don't you start your own thread on this?
I didn't say I don't care. I'm making a point here and it's becoming even more obvious to me that world opinion supports exactly what I'm trying to get everyone to see! People responded about "yeah, we care about the solders but we also care about these 7..."

I'm talking about the thousands of innocent citizens being SLAUGHTERED in Iraq by the American and British solders!!!!

SHEESH!

How can the world go about 'praying for God to support our troops' and 'praying for this and praying for that', when in fact, they IGNORE the innocent people in Iraq who are being butchered every day by two hostile governments! 😠

So, answer my question! WHY are you going out of your way to make mention of these 7 sailors when you don't give a damn about the suffering of thousands!? And I ask this of you BECAUSE it's people like yourself that ALLOW the continuing slaughter in Iraq!

Takes more faith to not believe in god than it does to believe in one.

Just thought I'd point that out.

Thanks, Angela... but still my english is horrible... May be you have understood something because you were drunk... LOL!

Pray. In your own way. But anyway pray so we can read tomorrow good news about this people (they have little oxygen to survive; only a few hours)

Make your little effort to dream of a better world.
No war crimes.
No terrorist attacks.
Dream of it.
May be tomorrow we'll be awake into a better world.

Cheers!

Why? What's so important about 7 sailor's lives??? I mean, look around you. 20-50 people die in Iraq nearly EVERY DAY! A dozen more have their limbs blown off their bodies...

So why is it that the world is "concerned" about these men? 😠
Imagine yourself inside the submarine for a moment, and you 'll probably get it.

Erm, perhaps because they are people with families. Maybe they have souls and feelings. Maybe they are screaming out for vital things such as food and warmth and oxygen. Perhaps they just need someone with a heart to reach and touch them. Yes a prayer sounds like a good thing to me. Does the fact that there are 20-50 needless deaths in one part of the world, make these other deaths a little less significant? You are the master of spouting shiasma.

Why do you assume you know anything about his 9or anyone elses)attitude regarding events in Iraq? And in any case why does it matter? The thread was about Sailors lost at Sea and the universal empathy they engender. Events in Iraq are irrelevant. I too am an atheist but have no problem wishing their rescuers ‘God Speed'.

I think people are missing the point I'm trying to make here... Sure, I don't want those 7 saylors to die. But what I'm saying is simply this: Why is there so much emphasis on saving 7 people when nobody seems to care about the thousands of innocent people being killed every day?

As a famous person once said, "There is no blindness more worse than those who refuse to see." Perhaps those people who this applys to would like to receive their trophy?

As Darvlay would say,

"What are you thinking when you say stuff like that?".

My guess is you are not thinking at all.

"Hey, a kid fell down a well! Call the fire department quick!"
"Why worry about one kid? People are getting shot in Iraq."

Nope. Makes no sense. Take the cake, Arrakis.

Just because you aren't one (even if you say you are, your view is much more agnostic) doesn't mean they don't exist.

I can't believe this is useful anyway. Che sará, sará.
So, please, do it, ask for them. May be you receive the gracia, and don't turn into another bowmann in your next incarnation (or your present one...)

<< will pray, Prayer is very powerful, Thx for asking even though you dont believe in it. But you can do somthing.. Hope
