I was not "beaten" in 8, but my opponent played a move that I realized was a refutation... it won my queen...
he wouldn't have won for at least 10 more moves.
So, on that count, you must forgive me for trying something new, what was I thinking?
and on the rating, who cares?
ratings only give vague ideas of player strenght...
I personally think (and have been told) that I play at least one hundred higher than my current rating. After playing ih8sens, and losing, on numerous occassions, it's difficult for me to raise my rating (not that I care about that stupid number anyway)
