A few times in the last two weeks I submit a move and/or mis-click somewhere on the page, and lo and behold a porn site appears. I doubt it's a virus on my iPad but one never knows.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or is this to be expected? I hope not. My wife's starting to ask questions..

Edit. Just kidding.
But don't let her see this thread.
From another forum site (poster is not a professional)
"iPads do not get viruses - in the definition of a virus being a malicious program that propagates itself across your operating system. The 'sandbox' nature of the iPad and the lack of a main file management system prohibitits that.
For anything to spread on your iPad you have to to take steps to make that happen....send dats from app to app.
The iPads can still fall victim to malicious links - such as if you get an e-mail with a bad link in it and tap on that link, you'll go to that bad site. I've also seen examples of google being hacked with bad links and you will see that on your google page (I've seen google result pages coming up with the links having good titles but if you look at the destinations you're being sent to sites in russia or china - which are rarely good sites)
You can also see ads that have been hacked to go to bad places...and if you tap on those ads you'll go there."
