Bonus sandwich. Warm two or three falafel depending on size. Serve in a warm naan bread with humous (spread on the naan and sprinkle a little paprika), chopped black olives, crisp lettuce, diced cucumber and tomato with a single pickled chilli. Can also be made with chicken tikka pieces instead of falafel.

Excellent quiz thanks, but I am not confident here apart from the bonus sandwich which frankly is a two pointer.

(Very funny, btw.)

Don't have a recipe, but either of these is probably disgusting to any non-American: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sloppy_joe

or fried, sliced SPAM with American cheese on any kind of sliced bread with your condiment of choice.

I nearly made a question about a "sloppy joe" but it was too unbelievable for non-Americans.

btw: glad you have a gsoh!

d) 1960
3) 2 slices
D) Russian dressing
i) Cribbage

Note: A real Reuben has to be on rye bread. And Russian dressing is a must.

Ok, you were one of those kids in school, with your potato chip sandwiches. At least you used mayo, instead of some god-awful condiment like ketchup.

1000 island dressing, man.

Maybe I'm from the wrong end of the country or something, but I've never seen a reuben without 1000 island dressing. I did choose Russian, tho, because it was the closest thing to it. And agreeing on the rye bread.

There is also a "barbecue-beef" sandwich which is similar, using bits of sliced beef (or pork) instead of the ground beef in the same or similar sauce.

When the family had this for dinner, I used a fork to try and contain the sauce. I know this goes against the idea of a sandwich, but you try getting tomato sauce out of your clothes.

There were always one or two of these kids showing up at the lunch table in school with their potato chip sandwiches. It was usually younger kids making their own lunch who did this.

The perfect sandwich requires only white bread, a swipe of butter, mature English Cheddar and Branston Pickle. Any other sandwich is a pale imitation. (Indeed, points should be deducted from anyone tendering a different filling).
