It is a custard like pie.

Quite frankly, there simply isn't a great deal of difference between

the very best and the worst pumpkin pie you've ever been served.

Very few foods or cuisines I dislike, Yo Its Me, so of course casting a favorable light on both the pumpkin and pumpkin pie.

Pumpkin retains its identity, flavor and texture... almost impossible for even a novice in the kitchen to get the pie wrong.
