The Exploited are the quintessence of punk, IMO. Put Wattie next to one of those Linkin Park or Green Day kiddies and everything should be clear.
I saw you mentioned Funeral Dress and Belgian Associality too. Probably not too well known here. 😉
Don't think BA is known outside Belgian borders, except maybe in Holland.Same for De Heideroosjes, but vice versa 🙂

Oh Genius, I hope you're not making this up.
I watched some Christian Rock videos the other day that had me just howling. In fact, I'm gonna start a new thread about this in Spirituality...
*sighs* christian rock. as a christian rocker, i rarely go near it...although nicko McBrain (the maiden drummer) is a christain (he and the linkin park guy are both from memory, i haven't verified then as i'm tired and pretty much can't be bothered...😛), dave mustain (megadeth genius guy, if you have to ask) is, and P.O.D. are (their first few albums were christain songs, and rather good they were too...). apart from that, there's delirious?, but they're not really that rocky. i mean - we sing some of their songs in church...😛
