Your hypothetical house is on fire and you (the only human at home) have time to grab just 3 things before fleeing the building:

1. The cat.
2. Laptop.
3. Wallet.

2 edits

@Ghost-of-a-Duke

1. handbag (keep everything there)
2. medicines
3. cellphone

(I would also try grab post-its with passwords... 🙂 )

- Cats
- Keys
- Devices

-Removed-
(Your wife isn't home... 🙂 )

1. Wallet
(I've had to replace all of my identification twice before and their will not be a third time!)
2. Coin collection
(It's not very much or all that valuable but it's all I have)
3. Beer

1) Pets (all four)
2) Passport
3) Wallet

Like patzering, although not as often (only once) I had to replace my identification and it's a long and arduous task indeed.

I love my high tech gadgets so it would be :

1. Video player
2. Gramophone
3. Typewriter.

Hopefully I would have my pager about my person.

I think if I had asked this question 20 years ago people would have included 'photo album.' I guess these days we are keeping all our photos on our phones or Facebook etc.

You're right - photo album used to be first priority.

I still have traditional photos done.
Either by a pro which I did a few days ago or the little photo booth at the mall.
I will always have them.
A few times a year me and the misses do it and it's fun.
Digital photos suck.
