I've also never heard a funny comic who made racial jokes that were denegrating and insulting (unless it was self-deprecating) as opposed to making a colourful observation of culture (no pun intended). Don't get me wrong! As most of you know, I find racial humour absolutely hilarious. But there's guys like Dave Chappelle and Richard Pryor who do it well and then there are those klansmen comedian who tell jokes like "What do you call a million niggers at the bottom of the ocean?". There's a big difference.
