Twenty years old, driving from Boston to Chicago, stopped at the New York State Thruway (Buffalo/Erie Interchange) toll booth well after
midnight. Rolled down the window, money in hand, to hear the unexpected words, "Your toll has already been paid, Sir, by the driver
just ahead of you." Many others since, but that one is still as vivid as if it had happened yesterday on my way to the RHP General Forum.
