Speaking of random acts of kindness...I saw a homeless person walking along the road on this cold and rainy day last week.So.. me being the thoughtful, kind, and compassionate person that I am.... ran his a$$ over and put him out of his misery.

Anybody else needs a helping hand here... let me know

I dunno what I am talking about anymore. 😞

I will play some chess and hopefully I will get

out of this bad move and negative feelings and

endless sarcasm.... Thanks for dropping in Ice

Stay safe.

Funny you mention that. A tramp walked up to me the other day and said 'have you got 100Baht for a sandwhich?'

I said ' Let's have a look at it! ' 😛

I was sitting on a park bench and he came back up to me.
He said ' are you gay? '
I said, 'No way!'
He said, 'get off my ruddy bed then!' 😛

That's my unkind act for today. Now for some goodness!... 😉

Epic, was that the same guy I saw carrying the tattered cardboard sign with

a Bible verse reference in small print and in big letters the word HEAVEN?

In all reality, well my reality maybe, acts of kindness should be random to others, as many as you can, but be continuous from within oneself. Help many, help a few... whatever your means. To give costs nothing... but the rewards of going beyond selflessness abound in warmth within oneself. Let's all give a little to somebody... even a smile costs nothing... 😏

Thanks. You made my day. The fragile hope of eliciting posts relating

to kindness, in word and deed, was the whole motive for the thread.

Twenty years old, driving from Boston to Chicago, stopped at the New York State Thruway (Buffalo/Erie Interchange) toll booth well after

midnight. Rolled down the window, money in hand, to hear the unexpected words, "Your toll has already been paid, Sir, by the driver

just ahead of you." Many others since, but that o ...[text shortened]... still as vivid as if it had happened yesterday on my way to the RHP General Forum.

So what happened after you flagged the driver ahead of you down and gave him the patented grampa bobby reach-around as a thank you...?

Probably the same thing you did when both your dads did it to you.

I once rescued a cat that was being raped. It happened in my back yard. I heard the screaming and howling, and saw these two, and the one was making such a racket, and this was at 3 in the morning. All the neighbours were yelling at them, but no one was doing anything about it. So I did.

Then moving in silently, downwind and out of sight, I had to strike when the moment was right without thinking.

Well, you should have seen that poor moggie leg it out of there.

No gratitude, though. Peed all over my car tyres the next morning.

Worldwide, I guess. Same scene, sights and sounds woke me a few years

ago around 2:00am in California. Screaming at first sounded like a child.
