I just won a game fair & square against an opponent rated at 1480 and me at 1308. After the checkmate my rating did not change. Can anyone clue me in on why I didn't move up in the ratings.?..Thanks
2) Was it a set piece game?
3) Did you or your opponent tick the magic box that says UNRATED in game setup?
4) Provide a link to the game!

IF it was rated, your rating would have been 1331
To find what your rating would be IF you win a game, paste this formula into Google and plug in you and your opponents rating, and it will tell you your new rating (only if you win)
(your rating) + 32 * (1 - 1 / (10^((OpponentRating-YourRating)/400)+1))

If you play in clans or clan leagues, your games are always rated. I'll stand corrected on this, but I believe all tournaments are rated games as well. So just watch out in your skittles games because they can be rated or unrated. Set piece challenge games are always unrated.
Thanks for the replies. Unrated? That won't happen again.
What a waste!..Ron๐

I then proceeded to wash two loads of dishes and then I left the house as well. When I came back my wife just ssumed my mother-in-law did all the dishes. In fact, I tried to convince her otherwise and she didn't believe me.
