Now, honestly, how many people can say they are in the top 5 percent? A heap of people on the forums. Top 10 percent? Same again.

Now, how many people can say they are in the bottom 5 percent? Not many. Those people stand out. What do you think?

Think about movies or computer games, for example. How many get rated higher than 80%/3 out of 5 stars? Do you remember them all? Or most of them, to that matter?
Now think about the moves/games that scored lower, ie sub-20% or 1 out of 5 stars. Do you remember them? I bet you do.

They stand out. Think about it...you know it's true.

(Honestly, I had no reason to post this whatsoever, expet for the fact that my rating has slipped about 50 points since I last visited, which has put me on the second last page of the Player Ratings, and I'm pissed. Ignore me.)

Er...wouldn't the number of people in the top 5% be exactly the same as the number of people in the bottom 5%? ie, 5% of the total number of people.

Probably. I was so pissed, I dunno what I was saying...ignore it. I'm posting this at school, on a day we get to go around with cameras in Film and Television...not good, when I feel like crap.
