Just looking for some tips on how to avoid the in-laws.
We always have to drive 5 hours to go see them and being with them
would force anyone to become a mass murderer.
So far I have been able to control my rage.
They never come see us so I'm ok in that department.
They grew up pretentious and wealthy and I grew up poor so you can see why we don't get along.
Any tips on how to come up with excuses to not go see them?
The ideas you come up with also have to fool my wife.

From a womans point of view if she really enjoys spending time with them then it's important that you go along or at least drive there with her and then get something else done that is so important, but comunication is key here. If she dosen't really enjoy seeing them then refusing to go is good for both of you.

So yes I am her "b**ch" but I was looking for clever excuses to not go.

Anyway he really ment stand ya ground, afterall I seriously doubt your wife wants you to be her "'b**ch'".
I suspect you feel inadaquate around them and would rather skip the whole thing becasue it challanges you to stand up for yourself and beleive in yourself, that you are equal. But I'd certianly not say that to you.
