I have no idea what recs are. I noticed I make about 3 moves and then I get a rec. So it is based upon your moves made here?

I couldn't care less. I have said many times that I'd like the total wreck number to be hidden, so that the wreck system could be used for its original purpose again - to point people to interesting posts. Wreck whoring and wreck competitions wouldn't make sense without the total wreck number, so I still think the wreck system could work if the total wreck number wouldn't be shown.

EVen if you never saw the total number of recs, you'd still have the "Recommended" page and the rec number above the posts.

People would still rec the most asinine, anti-social posts.

People used to wreck interesting posts when the list of recommended posts of the week was still there. There were also always some asinine posts in the wreck list, but they usually didn't get enough wrecks to be on the first page. I think it could work. At least it would be worth a try.

You seem a lot more obsessed with wrecks than anyone in the PFC. I think most people don't care much about their wreck number.
