Recs are retarded.

All you need to do to realize this is look at the posts of Pradtf, Katty and Darvlay.

we've had quite a few people who have created bogus RHP accounts and used these to increase their own rating. i wonder if anyone has sunk so low as to create a bogus account specifically so they can increase their rec count - ie, by reccing every post in the name of their real account?

Perhaps the weight of people's recs might be reduced if they very frequently make reqs? (might require less gui changes than a weekly req limit).
